Sherri Reusche
Sherri Reusche has lived in Calaveras County since 1997 and has operated a family-owned Construction business since 1990. Sherri graduated from Sacramento State University with a degree in Liberal Studies and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National University. Recently, she joined Sectaris Partners as a Partner and Senior Consultant. Sherri has actively taken on many leadership roles. She serves as Past Charter President for the San Andreas Rotary Club, Calaveras Unified School District - Board Trustee (17 years), Board Chair for the Calaveras Mariposa Community Action Agency, and is the President of Calaveras Chamber of Commerce. She always demonstrates her leadership skills with a hands-on approach and has a great passion for Board Governance. Her business and life motto is truly “Service above Self”.

Adam Cox
Adam Cox is a California native and self-proclaimed government nerd. Prior to founding Sectaris Partners in 2021, Adam spent 15 years working in the nonprofit and government sectors. He also served as an elected school board member for 11 years and has over 13 years of service on a mosquito abatement district board. He has experience in public agency budgeting and operations analysis, capital project planning, board, and executive team governance, strategic planning, and more. Adam currently serves as the general manager or city manager for several small public agencies. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Arizona State University.

Sandra Malik
Sandra Malik has lived in the capital city of Sacramento her entire life. Prior to joining
Sectaris Partners, she spent over a decade as an education programs consultant for the
California Department of Education. Based on experience liaising with government officials regarding education law, regulations, and board governance, Sandra has provided logistical support to over 950 California public school districts and county offices of education for program implementation, improvement, monitoring, and systems alignment across the state's diverse public school system. This includes co-development of the Observation Protocol for Teachers of English Learners (OPTEL) to ensure access and equity for all students. She also draws on a decade of experience directly serving students and parents as a classroom educator and community college
campus life coordinator. Ms. Malik holds both an administrative services credential and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from California State University Sacramento.

Shellee Randol
Shellee has lived in Merced since 1978. She enjoyed a 25-year career in the newspaper publishing industry working her way up to the Senior Graphic Designer position. In 2009, she pivoted to the ambulatory surgery center industry working for the California ASC Association for 13 years. Her role included planning and implementing their annual conference and overseeing attendees, vendors, and logistics. Shellee joined Sectaris Partners in the summer of 2022. She has a sincere love of people and strives to exceed their needs, professionally and personally.

Nicole Hamlin
Nicole Hamlin received her Women’s Studies Bachelor of Science
from the California State University at Sacramento, holds two
teaching credentials in Social Science and English and a
Master’s Degree in Education from the University of the Pacific.
Over the last three plus years she served as Chief of Staff for
the Merced City School District overseeing all District Project
Management, District Communications, and served as the liaison
with the Board of Education. As a lead Consultant for the
California Department of Education (CDE) she co-developed and
coordinated the Observation Protocol for Teacher of English
Learners (OPTEL) including facilitating quarterly State-wide
OPTEL Advisory meetings, Education Code and legal analysis, and
State Board of Education submissions. Prior to her work at CDE
Nicole was the Comprehensive Curriculum and Instruction Training
Specialist for the Sacramento City Unified School District.
Hamlin oversaw all district level professional development and
as an Adjunct Professor for the Teacher Education College at
Fortune School of Education she developed original curriculum to
align with Common Core State Standards and coordinated
recruitment events and hiring fairs. During her time as a high
school Assistant Principal, she oversaw all curriculum and
instruction development, English language development training,
and general teacher professional development. She also worked as
an English Language Arts and English Language Development
Training Specialist working directly with teachers to increase
skill level and confidence. As a classroom teacher she worked
with primarily at-promise students, English learner students,
and developed service curriculum in partnership with UC Berkley
based Y-PLAN to teach learners self-advocacy and civil
mindedness. She has also served on multiple parent teacher
council boards, wrote several grants, and served as a highly
skilled editor and journalist for Mystery Island Publications.
